Just before the Singapore Grand Prix, Lewis Hamilton, Nico Rosberg and the Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula 1 Team received their Ingenieur Chronograph limited editions.

The two Silver Arrow drivers, along with IWC Schaffhausen's brand ambassadors, present their Ingenieur Chronographs, each limited at 250 pieces. The two Silver Arrow drivers had a little bit of a fight during the Belgian Grand at Spa-Francorchamps but last week, they shared their love for mechanical wristwatches.

The 38-jewel mechanism oscillates at a rapid frequency of 28.800 vibrations per minute (4 Hz). The movement has a power reserve of 68 hours. The chronograph has a flyback feature that makes it easy to measure pit-stop times.

The titanium cases are 45mm wide and 15mm thick. The case is rugged and features a crown protector, zirconium oxide screw heads and crown. Water resistance is guaranteed down to 120 meters.

The dials are coated with Superluminova to improve legibility when the light is dim. Two totalizers are also included on the dial. The counters at 12 and 6 o’clock display the time, the clocked minutes, as well as the hours. The central seconds hand measures stopped times up to one hour.
